Frequently Asked Questions

Trailer & Towing

In order to tow our camper, you will need three things…

1. A tow vehicle strong enough to pull a camper that weighs 1400 lbs. “dry.” This refers to the weight of the camper excluding food, water, personal items & add-ons. Please account for the weight of these items when making your decision. Contact us for further detail.

2. A 7-way blade connector on your intended tow vehicle. The 7-way blade connector comes standard on all of our campers. Therefore, you will be required to have this style of connection installed on your intended tow vehicle at pick-up. Most newer vehicles will already have this included. We suggest testing your 7-way blade connector before picking up your camper to avoid any unwanted delays.

3. A standard 2” ball hitch with an appropriate maximum weight rating.

OPTIONAL: A brake controller installed on your intended tow vehicle. This allows your vehicles brake pedal to communicate with the electric brakes and apply the correct amount of force needed. A brake controller is required in order for you to use your electric brakes. Be sure that the brake controller on your vehicle has been functionally tested before use.

Trailer brakes are recommended but not required on trailers less than 2,000lbs.

The bolt pattern on our wheels is 5 on 4.5.

Electrical

If you do not have a refrigerator installed in your camper, the battery lasts five to six days under normal conditions. If you do have the fridge, it typically lasts around two days. However, with either 100w solar charging upgrade, you can maintain the power in your battery indefinitely with proper charging.

AC Direct Power Port: Whether your charging the battery up overnight at your home, or at a campsite that has access to power; This is your first method of charging the battery. Every camper sold comes with this charging option.

Battery Isolator: Optional add-on item that allows you to charge your campers battery from your vehicle.

100 Watt Compact Solar Charger: Compact “briefcase style” solar panel that allows you to plug in and move the panels into the sun, while your camper stays in the shade. Fits easily into the front box of the trailer with additional space left over. This is an optional add-on item.
100 Watt Hard Mount Solar Charger: Hard mount solar panel that mounts to the curve on the front of the camper and is secured and removed by lock by key. That way, you can charge the camper as your driving to and from camp. This is an optional add-on item.

Upgrades & Add-ons

Our goal is offer you a camper that meets your exact needs. Contact us today with the item(s) you have in mind and we’ll let you know if we can make it happen!

While the upgraded mattress typically offers a better nights sleep than at home, it sadly does not offer the couch configuration.

The propex heater works off an ultra quiet, energy efficient heat exchange similar to the furnace in your home, and is powered by the propane tank mounted on the side of the camper. The unit is installed underneath the camper floor while the heat is fed in by two ports located at your feet, without taking up any additional space in the cabin. A thermostat is then mounted inside the cabin so you can set your desired temperature and stay toasty all night! It’s perfect for those of you looking to extend your camping season or mount some skis or snowboards to the roof rack.
Yes! Both are able to be mounted to the roof rack on top of the camper.
So long as you have a 7 pin connection installed on your vehicle, nothing else is required.
Because its such a detailed and meticulous installation and design process, we work with a local company that specialized in this field and is able to offer professional and long lasting decals. With specialization, comes price. However, after one glance at our gallery, its easy to justify the price.

  • We do not offer in-house shipping for our campers. In order to have a camper shipped to you, you must arrange your own transportation services. However, once you have them arranged, we are happy to help with the loading process. Contact us for further details.

Maintenance & Warranty

Our camper has a very low maintenance design. However, some basic maintenance is required in order to keep it in tip-top shape. This includes greasing / repacking the wheel bearings, inspection of seals and seams, and matinanancing the trailer brakes if you have them installed and are using them. If you have decided to upgrade to the sink and water system, you will need to maintain sanitation and winterize come fall.
Every camper comes with a standard one year warranty.

Storage

The dimensions of our camper are listed below. This does not however include any add-on items. For more information, please reference our “Upgrades & Add-Ons” FAQ section above or contact us today.

  • Overall length: 14’ 4”
  • Overall width: 7’ 3”
  • Overall height: 5’ 11”
We recommend storing the camper inside, protecting it from the forces of mother nature. But, if this is not an option, we also sell covers that offer a waterproof/breathable layer of protection that straps tight to the camper.
Staying on the trend of low maintenance, very limited preparation is required for long term storage. Cleaning, removing sources of water, and ensuring propane and electrical are turned off about sums it up. Unless you have upgraded to the sink and water system, which requires winterization.
With a tongue weight of 150 lbs, our campers are moved around quite easily with one or two people.
